Team Cee Lo’s Jamar Rogers is a survivor.

And you need to be if you’re going to win this season of The Voice! We’ve been attached to this loveable contestant from the beginning and fully expect him to go all the way.

Here’s why:

1. His Killer Sound

Ever since he set the stage ablaze with his rendition of The White Stripes' “Seven-Nation Army,” we’ve known Jamar was a force to be reckoned with. Though the other three judges have admitted their mistake, we can’t believe that Cee Lo was the only one to turn for this comeback kid!

Each week he offers up another gut-busting performance, and we can’t wait to see what the future has in store for him.

2. He Overcame Addiction

For someone who never thought he’d make it to the age of 30, Jamar seems to be doing very well for himself. The singer has always been upfront about his former addiction to meth and has been clean and sober for years. He even volunteers to help teens suffering with addiction.

3. He Is an Inspiration

Across the country, fans are able to relate to Jamar. Not only does he have one of the most upbeat attitudes ever, but he suffered from addictions, is HIV positive, and has been struggling to get his music career off the ground for years. He’s not afraid to burst into tears and, to be honest, we’re crying right there with him.

His story is one that many know, and we’re sure the outcome will be pretty impressive.
