Now that we have our Top 10 on The Voice Season 3, it’s a bit easier to narrow down the front runners. With the finale less than a month away, the competition is heating up, but one soulful singer kept his cool throughout.

Team Adam’s Bryan Keith delivered week after week, putting his own spins on classic rock songs, and we thought he could take home the prize.

Let’s break down the Top 5 reasons he should have won The Voice:

5. He has great genes.

Even though his father, Ray De La Paz, is a Grammy Award-winning Spanish Harlem Orchestra band member, Bryan didn’t use his family connections to make it in the business. However, his dad’s good genes gave him a great “signature” voice, which he showcases every week!

4. He’s a stylist.

Blake Shelton hasn’t called Bryan a “stylist” yet, but the rocker’s fedora says otherwise! Yes, we’re talking about Bry’s other “signature” — his hat, which he wears during every performance without fail. Is it his lucky charm? Who knows. If so, it’s working!

3. Everybody loves him — especially the fans!

Week after week, Bryan is instantaneously voted into the next round by America. And if he didn’t, his coach, Adam, would definitely pick him. The other judges always rave about Bryan, too, clearly all jealous that they don’t have the rocker on their team. (All four of them did turn for him during his blind audition, after all!)

2. He puts his own spin on classic songs.

Bryan never sings a strong straightforward. Even though the classic rock songs he chooses are familiar to many fans, his unique twists and riffs help him stand out. Last week, he surprised everyone by tackling Amy Winehouse’s “Back to Black,” which we thought was the best performance of the night!

1. He is consistent.

There’s no denying that Bryan is consistent, delivering solid performances every week. His balance of soul and rock combines in a unique way that we’ve never heard before, and his voice is as smooth as butter. He knows what he’s doing and doesn’t falter from it, and he told Wetpaint Entertainment recently that there are “no gimmicks” with him, aka we shouldn’t expect him to use auto-tune or be surrounded by flames on stage anytime soon.
