Adam Levine Covers Inked Magazine, Disses Music Critics (PHOTO)
Though we would have preferred to see The Voice judge Adam Levine sans shirt, the sexy rocker kept things classy for his Sept. 2012 cover of Inked Magazine.
The Maroon 5 frontman seemed to have quite a bit to say, especially in light of his band’s latest album release.
“Music critics are all f—king idiots,” he told the magazine.
This comment comes after some negative feedback to Maroon 5’s hit album Overexposed. The band was criticized for its overly pop sound and focus, which Adam claims to love.
“I get off on that ability to connect with a large group of people,” he said. “That’s what I aim for when we’re making music. I’d much rather be able to go to Indonesia and sing a song that we wrote and have everyone sing the words than be hiding and playing in a little club.”
And we have to say, we’re digging Maroon 5’s new sound.
More importantly, we can’t wait for Adam to show off those beautiful tats on The Voice Season 3!
