Rock stars often get a bad rap, and The Voice coach and Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine is no exception.
He's inked from head-to-toe, he drives a motorcycle, and he's been linked to some of Hollywood's most notorious girls. But Adam insists he's not a bad guy, and he hopes his time on The Voice has helped people gain a better understanding of him.
"I felt like people only knew me as a singer who dated pretty girls. A little bit of a bimbo. Maybe I was kind of a bimbo," he dished in the June 2012 issue of Details magazine.
Adam's highly-publicized and rumored flings with everyone from Lindsay Lohan to Paris Hilton certainly didn't help his reputation, but the 33-year-old singer has no shame. Looking back on his promiscuous youth, he has nothing but positive things to say about the ladies he's loved.
"There's two kinds of men," he explains. "There are men who are f***ing misogynist pigs, and then there are men who just really love women, who think they're the most amazing people in the world. And that's me. Maybe the reason I was promiscuous, and wanted to sleep with a lot of them, is that I love them so much."
We think it's safe to say that love is reciprocated.
Less than two months after splitting from his girlfriend of two years, Anne V, Adam rebounded with Anne's fellow Victoria's Secret model, Behati Prinsloo. The couple has now been dating for more than six months.
