The Voice is all about launching the careers of a new generation of musicians. To do that, contestants need the help of four celebrity coaches, and for the first time, in Season 4, there will be a coach who has helped launch a superstar’s career.

As Usher comes in to replace Cee Lo Green, he brings with him the experience of mentoring pop sensation Justin Bieber.

“He plays the Bieber card,” Adam Levine told Wetpaint Entertainment at a press conference in November. “Well, I would do it. As much as I hate to say this about another coach in the beginning, Usher has done what this show has yet to do. [He has] launched a superstar, and that’s our goal.”

It will certainly be a powerful bargaining tool come blind auditions when Usher tries to steal the best contestants from the three remaining coaches.

“We want to be like you when we grow up,” newcomer Shakira joked.

“Yeah, we do,” Adam continued. “I’ll never say that again.”

Though it’s still too early to tell if Season 3 winner, Cassadee Pope, will be a superstar, we have high hopes for her. But could Season 4’s new coaches be the ones to put The Voice on the map by discovering the next big talent?

Guess you’ll have to tune into the premiere on March 25 to find out!
