Though he recently sang, “One more f***ing love song, I’ll be sick,” The Voice’s Adam Levine is a softie.

Just check out his recent Twitter conversation with movie director Cameron Crowe. Cameron is known for his classic romantic comedies like Jerry Maguire and Say Anything, the latter of which Adam recently tweeted about.
On Saturday, Maroon 5’s frontman said, “‘Say Anything’ is so good. There’s nothing like the first time you get your heart stomped on. Ouch.”
And even though he didn’t mention Cameron Crowe in the tweet, the director responded saying, “@adamlevine yep... the ouch is forever. thanks adam.”
And just when we thought all hope was lost, The Voice judge came back with an endearing response saying, “@CameronCrowe but it’s the ‘ouch’ that keeps us going!”
Aww! We always knew he was a romantic at heart!
