Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert Win Male and Female Vocalists of the Year at ACM Awards
As country music’s "It" couple prepares to celebrate their one-year wedding anniversary next month, they found something else to celebrate at last night’s Academy of Country Music Awards.
The Voice coach Blake Shelton and his wife and Voice mentor Miranda Lambert won the Male and Female Vocalist of the Year honors at the 47th Annual ACM Awards.
Miranda’s Four the Record also won “Album of the Year,” but Blake was unable to beat singer Taylor Swift for the top prize of “Entertainer of the Year.”
But taking home the trophies for top male and female vocalist aren’t too shabby! This power couple seems to be the talk of the country music world, but can someone on Blake’s team give him a win this year over last year’s winner, Adam Levine?
Only time will tell. To see more of Blake, watch The Voice’s first live show tonight on NBC at 8 p.m. ET.
