Typically Blake Shelton saves his commentary for coaching on The Voice, but he’s about to need it for a different kind of music show — the Academy of Country Music Awards.

Our favorite country crooner has been co-hosting the major awards show for more than two years now with actress and musician, Reba McEntire. But when Reba retired from her hosting duties to focus on her new sitcom, Malibu Country, Blake needed another partner in crime.

According to The Washington Post, Blake’s co-host for this year’s awards will be country singer Luke Bryan. This is Luke’s first live hosting gig, but with funny man, Blake, at his side, he’s sure to be a hit.

The awards show is scheduled to air on April 7, 2013, but we already have our winners picked. Basically, Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert have our votes for all the categories!

Do you think Luke Bryan will be a good co-host for Blake Shelton? Weigh in below!
