Blake Shelton Grants a Wounded Veteran's Special Request
Blake Shelton gets the majority of his publicity from his controversial tweets and crazy Voice antics, but the country crooner is now making headlines for a very good cause — and it all started on Twitter.
A war veteran named Brendan Marrocco who had recently survived a double-arm transplant told a local news agency that the first person he wanted to shake hands with was Blake.
A fan quickly informed the superstar about the veteran’s request, and he responded on Twitter, saying, “Wow.. Speechless. I will make this happen!!”
Blake followed up with Brendan Marrocco himself tweeting, “Hey Brendan @BMarr86.... I can't WAIT to shake the hand of an American Hero/Stud... You my brother.”
Needless to say, Brendan was excited.
“@blakeshelton holy mother of god!! I can’t wait I’m a huge fan and really looking forward to it. Thank you,” he tweeted.
We’re so happy Blake’s donated his time to this heart-warming event. Would you like to shake Blake Shelton’s hand? Tell us below!
