Blake Shelton and wife Miranda Lambert are one of country music’s biggest power couples. The two have been married for close to two years now, which means that the media is constantly pelting them with questions about potential future children.

But Blake’s a professional, and he knows how to dodge these questions with the best of them.

“I don’t see why not,” he told E! News. “I mean, gosh dang it, we’re married. Sooner or later we’re going to run into each other in the hallway and something’s going to be created I’m sure. We don’t have any plans on it. That’s kinda how we live our life. If it happens one day then it happens and we’re not trying to make it happen or avoid it.”

This is the first time that either of them have openly talked about the possibility of having a Shelton Jr. running around. In November 2012, the couple faced pregnancy rumors which they quickly shot down on Twitter.

Both stars are at the height of their careers, with Blake touring and starring on The Voice, and Miranda also on the road. But Blake’s fellow coach Shakira just gave birth to a son, so having children and a career is definitely a possibility in The Voice world.

We think these two would make great parents, as long as they keep the Bacardi bottles out of reach from the little ones! Do you think Blake and Miranda are ready to be parents? Tell us below!
