Blake Shelton’s Wife, Miranda Lambert, Gushes About Her “Children”

It’s common knowledge in the pop culture world that when a power couple gets married, they’re typically given less than a year before children are mentioned. So once Blake Shelton and his wife Miranda Lambert celebrated their one-year wedding anniversary, the baby rumors started flying.

This country music power couple doesn’t plan on producing any cowboy boot-wearing babies anytime soon, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t expanding their family.

In a recent interview with People Country, Miranda was quick to talk about her growing family, including her ... children?

“To me, my dogs are my children,” she said. “I think the unconditional love you get from an animal, especially a dog, is better than anything else. They’re so grateful and the love they give you back is like nothing else.”

Blake and Miranda currently have six rescue dogs, not to mention the strays that wander onto their Oklahoma property.

Miranda has also started a non-profit organization in 2009 called MuttNation Foundation to help dogs and animal shelters.
