Bryan Keith Plans to Stick With Classic Rock for the Live Shows on The Voice Season 3
Though plenty of contestants have worked outside the box during their time on The Voice Season 3, Team Adam’s Bryan Keith has benefited from his consistency.
In Monday night’s knockout rounds, Bryan went up against punk rocker Joe Kirkland, whose interesting song selection of Taylor Swift’s “Mean” earned him some appreciation from the judges.
But Bryan’s moving rendition of “(Everything I Do) I Do It For You” earned him a spot in the live shows. Wetpaint Entertainment caught up with the contestant today and asking him about his strategy moving forward.
“I don’t regret the choice because I love the song,” he said. “I’d really like to stick to where I am now. There’s nothing wrong with getting out of my comfort zone, but I think to stay here I have to stick with my rocker side and put some soul into that. It’s my forte and I want to make sure that that stands in people’s minds and keep going in that direction.”
We love Bryan’s sound, but there’s nothing wrong with mixing things up a little. After all, we wouldn’t want any more “one-dimensional” comments coming from Christina Aguilera this season.
What do you think? Should Bryan try some other genres or stick with that he knows? Weigh in below!
