There are few things in life we’re more excited for than Cassadee Pope’s debut post-Voice album. The Season 3 Team Blake winner has been writing and recording since her December 2012 win and we’re ready to hear her new tunes.

Unfortunately, it seems the recording process is taking longer than Cassadee had originally anticipated considering she first said she’d have her album out by the end of February 2013.

The good news? It seems Cass is wrapping up the recording process. She’s been living in Nashville and recording with her new label Republic Nashville for the past few months.

The singer made a name for herself on The Voice when she transitioned from pop rock music to some country with Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert’s hit single, “Over You.”

Yesterday, she Instagrammed this picture with the caption, “Recording recording recording.”

We’re hoping her frantic expression in the pic means she feels the same desperation we do when it comes to this album.

“Off to the studio again. Coming to the end of my Nashville stay. It's crunch time!” she tweeted today.

That’s what we like to hear! Crunch time means Cassadee’s wrapping up the recording process, which puts us one step closer to original tunes!
