Every season of The Voice is like a different family, but some contestants from different seasons were linked long before the show. Team Adam’s Nicole Nelson was friends with Season 2 winner, Jermaine Paul, and Team Blake’s Cassadee Pope was close with last season’s runner-up, Juliet Simms.

Nicole made an early exit, but Cassadee is now in the finale, and she hung out with her old friend this week when Juliet returned to The Voice stage to perform her newest single, “Wild Child.”

Social Media Correspondent Christina Milian had all the alums backstage for her Sprint After Show to talk about seasons past and present, and the two female powerhouses hammed it up on the couch, talking about their history and friendship.

“We go way back,” Juliet said.
“All the way to 2010,” Cassadee joked.

It seems the girls’ bands Automatic Loveletter and Hey Monday met on the Vans Warped Tour a few years ago and the rest, as they say, was history!

“I kinda looked up to her,” Cassadee admitted.
“Aww, I was looking up to you the entire time,”Juliet gushed.
“Reallyyyyy?” Cassadee responded, looking wide-eyed.

Aww! Looks like these two Voice icons idolized each other from day one. What do you think of Cassadee and Juliet’s friendship? Weigh in below!
