Just when we thought The Voice Season 3 finale couldn’t get any better, NBC announced that Cassadee Pope will duet with her pop-punk inspiration, Avril Lavigne!

Yahoo!’s Reality Rocks reports that three special guests will hit the Voice stage on tomorrow’s live finale, duetting with the Top 3 contestants, and the most exciting collaboration is obviously Cassadee’s.

The young singer has performed two Avril songs this season — “I’m With You” and “My Happy Ending” — so no matter what happens in the finale, getting to duet with one of her biggest idols is a big win in it of itself.

The network has yet to announce what song the duo will sing together, but we’re crossing our fingers for something from Avril’s first album, Let Go. Though they aren’t her biggest hits, “Losing Grip” or “Anything But Ordinary” could be perfect, or perhaps “Don’t Tell Me” or “Fall to Pieces” from her second album, Under My Skin. Basically, anything but “Girlfriend.”

In addition to Avril’s performance, Scottish rocker Terry McDermott will team up with Peter Frampton, and Nicholas David will sing with Smokey Robinson.
