Every Monday night, The Voice Season 2 coach Cee Lo Green is in charge of encouraging his 12 contestants to be the best vocalists and performers that they can be.

But apparently once the weekend rolls around, all bets are off!

Cee Lo performed at an Atlanta fundraiser for President Barack Obama last Friday, March 16. Instead of opting for the edited version of his latest hit, "Forget You," as we’ve heard on the radio, awards shows, and in a Glee cover, Cee Lo openly sang the song’s title explicative and flashed his middle fingers to the audience.

One disgruntled viewer tweeted,”@CeeLoGreen You have no class at all, very disrespectfull tonight.#TheVoice should be ashamed of you right now.”

The singer responded saying, “@thecrow365 well there not! And it was a mistake sir. All of you heard the song a thousand times so don't get all saint on me.”

The president wasn’t present at the performance, but if press was what President Obama was hoping for, that’s certainly what Cee Lo delivered. No news yet on Obama’s reaction to the performance, but Cee Lo certainly doesn’t seem to be too concerned.

Purrfect the Cat was not available for comment.

What do you think of Cee Lo’s performance? Disrespectful? Funny? Both? Comment below!
