Christina Aguilera Announces AMA Nominees in a Curve-Hugging Purple Dress: Love It or Leave It? (PHOTOS)

As a welcome back to the world of recording artists, Christina Aguilera was given the opportunity to announce this year’s American Music Award Nominees.

The Voice coach is prepping for the release of her first studio album in two years, Lotus, which is set to hit stores November 13, 2012. Today the singer announced the nominations for the 40th Annual AMAs, including the ones that went to her fellow Voice coach Adam Levine and his band Maroon 5.

Xtina showed up to the announcement sporting her latest purple and pink ‘do paired with a bright purple, form-fitting dress. The short dress hugged the singer’s curvaceous body as she announced this year’s nominees.

With the break she’s taking from The Voice this coming spring, maybe Xtina will be amongst the list of nominees next year!
