Christina Aguilera: My Email Hacker Took Away My "Feeling of Security"
The Voice’s Christina Aguilera is used to having her photos posted all over the Internet and in magazines, but in 2011, the singer’s email account was hacked and her privacy invaded.
The hacker, Florida resident Christopher Chaney, was caught and pled guilty to illegally accessing the email accounts of 50 members of the entertainment industry, including actresses Scarlett Johansson and Mila Kunis.
Xtina released an official victim’s impact statement, saying, “That feeling of security can never be given back and there is no compensation that can restore the feeling one has from such a large invasion of privacy.”
We’re sorry about the lingering effect this invasion has had on The Voice judge, and we hope she’ll be able to move on soon!
