These days Christina Aguilera is ready for a resurgence in her career, and she’s looking into all possible options. First, she’s taking a brief break from coaching on The Voice to promote her upcoming album, Lotus.

And now it looks like she might be taking a page out of fellow coach Adam Levine’s book and exploring the acting world. Christina starred in the 2010 movie-musical Burlesque with Cher, but she’s ready to expand her horizons.

"I do want to do more acting," she told E! News. "I want to do something where I can really sink my teeth into something a little more challenging. Really outside of myself, outside of music."

What role attracts the “Your Body” singer?

"I want it to be honest and genuine in expanding my wings and doing something really, really different,” she continued. “A crackhead on the street or a drug addict. Or something crazy and meaty and juicy. Something that really took me out of myself."

Talk about different! Can you see Xtina playing a crackhead? Weigh in below!
