We love listening to Christina Aguilera’s music and watching her banter with the coaches on The Voice, but it’s even more special when she uses her influence for good.

The pop diva is already a spokeswoman for World Hunger Relief, and now it’s been announced that Xtina will perform at the Hurricane Sandy: Coming Together benefit.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the telethon will air on Friday, Nov. 2 from 8 to 9 p.m. ET on NBC, NBCU channels E!, CNBC, MSNBC, Style, Syfy, and G4. The program will also live stream on NBC.com.

In addition to Christina, the show will feature Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, Sting, and Jon Bon Jovi. Matt Lauer will host the event, and news anchor Brian Williams and comedian Jimmy Fallon will also make appearances.

Donations to the event will go to the American Red Cross, one of the organizations helping victims of Hurricane Sandy recover.

We’re proud of Christina for using her popularity for a great cause! Will you be watching? Tell us below!
