Details on Cee Lo Green’s New TV Role

We think The Voice’s Cee Lo Green is one of the most entertaining people on television, so it makes sense that he would have offers to guest star on shows outside of the reality realm.

The Ladykiller is set to guest star on TV Land’s The Soul Man opposite Cedric the Entertainer. The comedy stars Cedric the Entertainer as Reverend Boyce, and according to Entertainment Weekly, Cee Lo is playing “a flashy rival preacher who’s stealing congregation members from Boyce’s church.”

We think wild and flamboyant Cee Lo will kill it in this role. And clearly, he's a machine, since  recording, writing a memoir, having a residency in Las Vegas, and prepping to film Season 3 of The Voice simply wasn’t enough to have on his plate at the moment!

The Soul Man will premiere on TV Land on June 20 at 10 p.m.
