Did Christina Aguilera Quit The Voice? You Asked, We Answered!

Being a pop star and a judge on one of the most popular reality show competitions is a tough job, but Christina Aguilera has been making it look easy for the past couple years. But alas, her time pulling double duty is quickly coming to an end, as the songstress announced that she will be leaving The Voice at the end of this season.

In a statement she released in September, Christina shocked us all when she said that she would be taking “a Season 4 hiatus” in order to spend time promoting her new album, Lotus. “I am a singer and performer first,” she reminded us,  “and I am so excited to get back to that love.”

But don’t worry, this isn’t goodbye forever. Christina reassured fans that this wasn’t the right and true end, going on to say that has plans to return for season five, scheduled for fall 2013.

As for her feelings on replacements, Shakira and Usher? “Mi casa su casa," the ever diplomatic artist added.
