Does the music world's most glamorous woman, Christina Aguilera, have a brother? Heck, yeah.

Her half-brother's name is Michael Kearns. Christina was born on Staten Island, which is part of the only city in the world that is just as energetic and exciting as she is, New York. Her dad, Fausto Aguilera, was in the U.S. military. He and her mom, Shelly, a musician, had two kids — Christina and her younger sister, Rachel.

The relationship between her parents was volatile (Christina has spoken publically about the physical and emotional abuse her family suffered), and Fausto and Shelly divorced when she was just a kid.

Her mother later remarried Jim Kearns, a paramedic. Michael is their son. Christina has virtually no relationship with her father since the late '90s, though earlier this year, in an interview with Latina magazine, she indicated that she might be willing to reconcile. "I've talked about how rough things were for me, and I'm sure he's heard it," said the singing superstar and awesomely awesome coach on The Voice. "He can't be thrilled about it. So maybe one day we can do lunch ... I'm thirty-one years old now. Maybe it's time."

Things are a lot less tense with the other side of the family. When Christina was honored with a star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame in 2010, her mom, Shelly, and brother, Michael, were right there with her!
