Dream Battle Round Pairings on The Voice Season 3

As much as we love (and occasionally drool over) the four celebrity judges on The Voice, sometimes we want to be the ones calling the shots in the big red chairs.

So in honor of tonight’s premiere battle round episode, we’ve put together our dream list of battle round pairings.

Here’s our top picks:

Team Adam:

Caitlin Michele vs.  Melanie Martinez — Both ladies went for the more creative song selections in their blind auditions. And with Caitlin’s powerhouse sound and Melanie’s quirky style, we have a feeling this would be a battle worthy of eccentric singers everywhere.

Team Cee Lo:

Domo vs. Chevonne — The self-proclaimed Lady Gaga of China vs. Lady Gaga’s former backup singer. Need we say more?

Team Blake:

Gracia Harrison vs. Liz Davis — It’s been a while since we’ve seen a good ‘ol fashioned country hoedown. No more weird cross-genre pairings this year, Blake!

Team Christina:

Jordan Pruitt vs. Dez Duron — The former Disney recording artist vs. the hunky football player. Wasn’t that the premise for High School Musical?
