Last night was bittersweet for Voice contestants Adriana Louise and Michaela Paige and their coaches, Christina Aguilera and Blake Shelton.

These two powerhouse contestants said goodbye to the show after finding themselves in the bottom two of the live results show.

Wetpaint Entertainment caught up with the former contestants on the red carpet after the show, and, though tearful, they were eager to talk about the impressive journey they’ve been on thus far.

Team Christina’s Adriana Louise talked about her regrets from this season, saying, “Before, I would have probably said I could have had better song choices, but now I’m like, who would have known what would have happened? Had I done different songs ... I might not have gotten here, so I’m good with everything that has happened. Christina Aguilera still believes in me, so I’m good.”

And Xtina’s not the only coach supporting her former contestant. Blake Shelton is notorious for helping his artist’s careers after the cameras stop rolling.

“I think that’s the thing that reassures me — that this isn’t the end,” said Team Blake’s Michaela Paige. “I’ve seen the way that Blake has been with his artists before, and I know that it’s not the end. I have all the faith in the world in Blake, and I know that it’s just beginning for [us].”

And now that the show’s over, will Adriana go back to her waitressing gig in Brooklyn?

“I do not want to go back to waitressing,” she admitted. “I love you, Larry, my manager, but I’m not coming back!”

Michaela also hopes to move forward, continuing to use her craft to help others.

“I’m so about expressing myself and I hope that people know that they can be themselves and be accepted for it,” she said. “I was here to inspire people and that’s what I did.”
