Tonight on the Academy of Country Music Awards, you can expect to see The Voice coach Blake Shelton duet with Voice mentor Lionel Richie.

But almost nine years ago, you would have seen an entirely different sight. It’s what we like to call BM (Before Miranda) and, well, rather frightening.

This photo was snapped at the ACM Awards on May 20, 2003 in Las Vegas.

Since his Shaun-White-look-alike days, Blake has learned to control his 'do and was just crowned “Hottest Guy” in country music from People Magazine.
