Jermaine Paul Is The Voice Season 2 Winner! Did America Get It Right?
After weeks of blood, sweat, and tears, Jermaine Paul from Team Blake won Season 2 of The Voice. Chris Mann finished in fourth place, Tony Lucca in third, and Juliet Simms in second.
Throughout the season, Jermaine has been something of a dark horse. Unlike Juliet and Tony, who were early fan favorites, the former Alicia Keys backup singer peaked later in the competition. But his timing couldn't have been better — his stirring rendition of "I Believe I Can Fly" gave him that extra push he needed to take the title.
Something tells us that Jermaine, who takes home a $100,000 recording contract with Universal Republic Records, will never sing backup vocals again!
Now that all is said and done, did America make the right choice? Or were one of the runners-up — Juliet, Tony, or Chris — more deserving of the crown?
