Former TRL host Carson Daly is in for a big year. He’s currently hosting Season 4 of The Voice, running his own radio talk show, and taping his late, late, late night NBC show Last Call With Carson Daly which airs at 1:35 a.m. ET.

With all of the changes in late-night television, Carson’s slot was recently called into question when rumors of NBC talking with Alec Baldwin surfaced. But the network has just announced that Carson will be back for a 13th season of Last Call.

“Over 10 yrs now in NBC LATENIGHT- not one single day goes by I'm not incredibly grateful. Excited for another season!” Carson tweeted on April 10.

On the show, Carson finds the latest talent and exposes stories the average viewer might not find otherwise. And the former MTV host certainly has a history of discovering talent.

His time on TRL made the show widely popular and known promoting the next big thing in the pop music industry. Carson’s now encouraging new talent on NBC’s hit reality show, The Voice.

The show has managed to beat the ratings of American Idol and The X Factor for several seasons now, and it’s only getting better in Season 4.
