Though recently eliminated contestant Jamar Rogers suggested that Voice coach Cee Lo Green’s cat Purrfect should attain a Fancy Feast deal, it seems this feisty feline had something else in mind.

It’s been 16 years since the “Meow Mix” jingle has been played on TV, and to celebrate its comeback, Cee Lo and Purrfect have collaborated to create a “Meow Mix” remix.

Yes, you heard right.

"Purrfect was thrilled to hear about this new deal with Meow Mix cat food," Cee Lo said in a statement. "That sultry purr of hers is perfect for a modernized remix of the iconic Meow Mix jingle. Watch out cats!"

The rental cat’s track is available on www.MeowMix.com, and each download of the song donates one pound of Meow Mix cat food to Pets Are Wonderful Support in Los Angeles.

"This is truly the 'perfect' opportunity to introduce the Meow Mix cat food jingle to a whole new audience of pet lovers," said Sue Resnicoff, Director of Cat Food Marketing, Del Monte Foods, in a statement. "We're so thrilled Cee Lo and Purrfect the Cat were up for the job of remixing this classic and memorable jingle."
