Though it was Christina Aguilera’s Season 2 contestant Sera Hill who enjoyed belting out Mary J. Blige’s hits, it seems the R&B singer will be helping out Team Adam Levine this season on The Voice.

"I've always been a huge fan of Mary J. Blige," Adam Levine told Rolling Stone. "So it's been great having her on The Voice as an adviser to my team."

This news comes shortly after the announcement that singer Michael Buble will be advising Team Blake Shelton.

The advisor selections this year seem a bit odd last year Blake had wife and fellow country singer Miranda Lambert and pop/country singer Kelly Clarkson, while Adam had rockers Alanis Morrisette and Robin Thicke but we do support having just one per team.

We’re not sure who will be assisting Team Xtina or Team Cee Lo yet, but the way things are going, maybe they’ll have a country singer and a yodeler?

What do you think of Mary J. Blige joining Team Adam?
