Miranda Lambert and The Voice Contestant RaeLynn Perform New Co-Written Song “Lie” (VIDEO)

Though Team Blake contestant RaeLynn was eliminated long before The Voice Season 2 finale, Blake Shelton’s wife Miranda Lambert seems to have taken the young Texan under her wing.

The 17-year-old singer has already performed with Miranda at the Stagecoach Country Music Festival, and been dubbed the “Baby Annie” by Miranda’s group, Pistol Annies.

And now, the Southern besties have co-written a new song. On June 12, RaeLynn tweeted, “Check out this video of me and @Miranda_Lambert singing the song ‘Lie’ that we wrote!” with a link to this June 7 performance video.

Though RaeLynn seemed to struggle with vocal control on the show, she and Miranda sound great together on this new song.
