Music mogul Simon Cowell has never been one to hold back his feelings, but his continued attacks on The Voice are getting just a tad bit desperate.

A few weeks ago, he called NBC's hit music competition a "copy" of The X Factor, and according to TMZ, Simon is now telling lakcluster X Factor contestants to try out for The Voice.

"If you decide to try out again, please do it on another show," judge L.A. Reid was overheard instructing an X Factor hopeful during the Austin auditions, to which Simon chimed in, "Yes, the good news is I hear The Voice auditions are happening next week."

Thanks, Simon, but we don't need your sloppy seconds.

Sounds to us like Mr. Cowell is a bit nervous about going head-to-head with The Voice this fall. Or perhaps he's afraid that his newest judge Britney Spears won't hack it next to The Voice's seasoned pro Christina Aguilera. We smell a pop princess showdown!

Either way, it's clear that Simon's shaking in his deep V, and we don't blame him — The Voice is NBC's No. 1 rated series, aside from NFL football. So to Simon we say, prepare to get tackled!
