In the first and one of the strangest pairings of the night, Blake Shelton put soul singer, Terisa Griffin, up against mariachi singer, Julio Cesar Castillo. The two sang Gloria Estefan’s “Conga” in a battle to the musical death.

Their performance left coach Christina Aguilera speechless, and Adam Levine and Cee Lo Green with split opinions. Cee Lo loved Terisa’s enthusiasm and soul, while Adam said there was nothing that topped Julio’s eccentric style.

The contestants’ coach was at a loss saying, “I’ll be damned if both of you didn’t do awesome.”

Ultimately, Blake sided with Julio saying that he’d shown the most improvement since rehearsals, while Terisa was quickly snatched up by Cee Lo. But who deserved to win the battle? Tell us what you think below!
