As we anxiously the spring 2013 season of The Voice, the cast and crew have been hard at work to bring our favorite show to television. Season 4 premieres on March 25, 2013 on NBC, and host Carson Daly gave us a little preview on Twitter yesterday.

“Just watched first 20 mins of season 4 @nbcthevoice 1st episode and it is fing awesome! We have stepped up our game! So stoked 4 u 2 c it,” he tweeted on March 6.

Typically we don’t approve of throwing out expletives on social media, but sometimes The Voice just gets people that excited.

In Season 4 we’ll be temporarily saying goodbye to coaches Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green as Shakira and Usher take their places in the big red chairs. The episode Carson watched obviously features the show’s famous blind auditions, which are sure to have an even higher level of talent this season after Season 3’s top-tier contestants.

We’ve already seen some previews of the fun dynamic between the new coaches and returning veterans Adam Levine and Blake Shelton, but we can’t wait to see the new crop of artists.

Are you as excited for the upcoming season as Carson Daly? Or will the show not be able to recover from the temporary loss of Cee Lo and Xtina? Tell us your thoughts below!
