Plenty of artists audition for The Voice to become stars, but one potential Season 4 contestant is already a star. Actress and artist Sasha Allen from the musical cult-classic film Camp has auditioned for Season 4 of the hit reality show.

“#TheVoiceMarch25 I auditioned!!!!!!!” Sasha tweeted on March 24.

In Camp, Sasha played Dee, the powerful, belting diva who opened the film with the emotional ballad “How Shall I See You Through My Tears.”

The 2003 film gained a major cult following for its ability to tackle tough subjects for teens. It followed a group of adolescents desperate for fame at a performing arts summer camp.

Sasha also appeared in the Broadway revival of Hair where she was praised by Playbill.com for her impressive rendition of “Aquarius.”

As a bonus, Sasha performed on former coach Christina Aguilera’s Back to Basics tour. And though Christina Aguilera won’t be able to turn for her in Season 4, we have a feeling that Sasha’s impressive résumé will catch the attention of one of the new coaches.

Sasha is currently married with a toddler son and living in New York. Listen to her amazing Camp performance below!
