We were so excited for the return of The Voice Season 4 that we might have hallucinated through the first blind audition when two identical girls walked on stage in matching red bandage dresses and sang Alicia Keys’ “Fallin’” in perfect harmony. Or it could have been The Morgan Twins...

The Voice now has its first twin duo — The Morgan Twins (aka Cara and Rhian Morgan) — and these ladies are certainly using their similarities to their advantage. Thus far the show has failed to advance any duos past the first round of live shows, with Team Cee Lo’s The Thompson Sisters from Season 1 making it the furthest to date. But could The Morgan Twins break the “Curse of the Duos”?

Wetpaint Entertainment caught up with The Morgan Twins the day after their blind audition aired (March 26) in a conference call where they talked about combatting the elusive “curse.”

“Even though there is a curse, I feel that we actually have an advantage as a duo,” the girls admitted. “We can harmonize. That’s part of our gimmick, that’s part of our act, you know, dressing alike and looking alike, everything. I don’t feel that we have to work harder. It’s kinda nice too, because it’s like having your security blanket there next to you at all times. We’re a little scared, we want to make it far. We do know there is that curse, but hopefully, because we’re basically the same person, same DNA, it’s not really a duo.”

These ladies hope to rely on their ability to blend and work together to make it through the competition. We dare you to tell them apart when they’re rockin’ the matching outfits. Not only do the girls have a “wow” factor, but their killer harmonies are not to be trifled with.

These lovely ladies have the pleasure of working with coach Blake Shelton in Season 4, and with two wins under his giant belt buckle, they might have a shot at being the first duo to take home the title.
