The Voice judges Blake Shelton, Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, and Adam Levine.
The X Factor may have given most of their judges the boot, but The Voice is happy to keep their panel intact. After re-signing Christina Aguilera for Season 3 last week, that NBC has now reached an agreement with the remaining judges as well, reports The Wrap. Phew!
Although a network spokeswoman claimed that “no final decisions” had been made, insiders revealed that Cee-Lo Green, Adam Levine, and Blake Shelton did re-up their contracts and were even able to negotiate higher salaries. Apparently, they’ll bank $6 million in the upcoming season — about twice what they’ll make during Season 2. For that, we’d clear our schedules too!
Also exciting is the fact that Season 3 has been pushed forward and will premiere in the fall. In light of its amazing ratings, The Voice will go head-to-head with The X Factor. NBC is expected to formally announce the decision in the coming weeks.
We can’t wait to see who wins this ratings smackdown!
