The Voice Season 2’s Tony Lucca to Appear on the Dec. 11, 2012 Live Results Show (UPDATE)

Just when we thought The Voice had announced all of its returning contestants, Season 2 fan favorite Tony Lucca shared some exciting news.

The former Team Adam finalist — and bane of Christina Aguilera’s existence — tweeted his announcement on Dec. 4:

Considering that one member from each coach’s Season 2 team is performing — Juliet Simms from Team Cee Lo, RaeLynn from Team Blake, and Chris Mann from Team Christina — we’re hopingthat Tony will, too. However, since he didn’t specify that he will be singing and no press releases have mentioned him, he could be doing anything. Hey, maybe he’ll even guest mentor for Adam like Train’s Pat Monahan did for Cee Lo!
 

UPDATE: When a fan asked Tony if he was performing on The Voice on Dec. 11, he tweeted back:
