As uber fans of The Voice, we think that last night’s live performance episode was definitely the best of Season 3 — and potentially the best to date — which makes picking only three of the Top 10’s performances even more challenging.

But choose we must. So here are our Top 3 favorite live show performances:

3) Dez Duron Sings “Feeling Good” by Michael Buble

Closing out the night was Team Christina’s token pretty boy, Dez Duron. In the past, it might have been easy to write off Dez as something sexy to look at, but tonight’s performance really solidified his place in the competition. From the tux to the lights to the killer vocals and mic slides, the whole thing was just working for us. Not only did Dez prove himself, but he showed us how marketable he can be post-Voice, which is something the show could really use right about now.

2) Amanda Brown Sings “Stars” by Grace Potter and the Nocturnals

After last week’s slightly “off” Florence + the Machine performance, Amanda was back in a big way. Her passionate performance and pure vocals reminded us why we wanted her to win this thing in the first place. In fact, we would have give her the top prize if it weren’t for ...

1) Cassadee Pope Sings “Over You” by Miranda Lambert

Maybe it was just us, but the instant Blake announced Cassadee’s song choice, someone very close by started chopping some large onions. This extremely emotional song chronicles Blake’s painful loss of his brother at an early age, and was co-written and recorded by his wife, Miranda Lambert. Basically, it’s the untouchable song, and Blake handed it to Cassadee with his blessing. And boy, did that girl deserve it. We had to listen to this one several times and download it so we could catch it all through the sobs.
