Now that it’s been almost a week since Cassadee Pope was crowned the winner of The Voice Season 3, we can all relax and reflect on the good times. It seems like decades ago, but back in September, we were gearing up for the third year of the show’s infamous blind auditions.

This season, we saw some of the best auditions since the show’s inception. Here are our Top 5 favorites:

5. Melanie Martinez | “Toxic” by Britney Spears

Long before Melanie made it to the live shows on The Voice Season 3, this quirky teen with two-toned hair charmed us with her stripped down version of Britney Spears’s “Toxic.” Playing the acoustic guitar and tapping a tambourine with her foot, Melanie turned three chairs — Christina Aguilera was the exception, natch — and won over America.

4. Cassadee Pope | “Torn” by Natalie Imbruglia

In what proved to be a killer start to a successful Voice career, Cassadee Pope rocked the ‘90s hit “Torn” and her pure, powerful vocals inspired a rare four-chair turn. From there, her performances only improved, taking the punk rocker all the way to the finals.

3. Gracia Harrison | “I Want to Be a Cowboy’s Sweetheart” by Patsy Montana

Though Gracia didn’t make it as far as we’d hoped, she was the first contestant to ever yodel on the show, and we won’t forget it anytime soon. The platinum blonde reminded us of a mature, more genuine RaeLynn, and we were sure she’d be the country singer to make it the live shows. Sadly, she lost in the Knockout Rounds, but her blind audition is one for the record books.

2. Nicole Nelson | “Hallelujah” by Leonard Cohen

Nicole’s early exit in the Knockout Rounds was also pretty shocking after her mesmerizing blind audition of Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah.” We couldn’t look away from this self-proclaimed hippie as her pure vocals dazzled on stage.

1. Trevin Hunte | “Listen” from Dreamgirls

There were some very impressive blind auditions this season, but none held a candle to 18-year-old Trevin Hunte. This shy teen belted the hit Dreamgirls track effortlessly, as if it was an easy song to tackle. Yes, we cried, and yes, we immediately rented Dreamgirls after. Anyone who can give Beyonce a run for her money deserves the No. 1 spot on this list!
