As the blind auditions on The Voice Season 3 finally come to a close next week, we thought it was time to take a look back at those singers that managed to truly wow the judges and us at home.

This season brought more than enough talent, trouble, and requisite sob stories, but we somehow managed to narrow it down to our five favorites. So read on for our top 5 picks!

5. Bryan Keith

This Bronx native who had music in his blood was one of the first singers to grace The Voice stage. With his rendition of “It Will Rain” that honestly may have topped Bruno Mars’ original version, he earned the first four-chair turn of the season, and grabbed the first spot on coach Adam Levine’s team.

4. Adriana Louise

A waitress by day, Adriana had lived in her life in the shadow of a terrifying family tragedy. But, opening the second episode of the season, the white hot songstress Adriana was all light as she gave the judges a fresh and funky version of Jessie J’s "Domino," who rewarded her in kind with four button presses. And after earning a standing ovation from the entire crowd and a few too many compliments from Cee Lo, Adriana found her way onto fellow diva’s Christina Aguilera’s team.

3. Nicole Nelson

The free spirited Nicole made her home in a Vermont former shoe factory, but it was clear from the moment she opened her mouth that she belonged on stage. Her version of “Hallelujah” left us with chills, and earned her a well deserved spot on Team Adam.

2. Terisa Griffin

Even if we wanted to, there’s no way we could forget Ms. Terisa Griffin. With her powerful version of Adele’s “Someone Like You” and overpowering personality that nearly knocked coach Blake Shelton out (to be fair, he did ask for it), Terisa showed the judges that the older crowd still had something to offer this season. If nothing else, we’re sure she’ll keep Blake more than busy.

1. Avery Wilson

With a voice and dance moves that reminded us of upcoming Season 4 coach Usher, and a sweet charm all his own, this 16-year-old from Connecticut had only been singing for a short time. But, from the way the young phenom absolutely stunned with his rendition of David Guetta’s “Without You,” you’d think he was already a superstar. Hoping to help him on his way there were all four judges, but Avery chose Cee Lo Green to (hopefully) lead him to victory.

Honorable Mention: Dez Deron

And of course we couldn’t let this list end without a shout out to our boo Dez Deron. The former Yale football player with the face (and potentially body) of an Abercrombie model came back for a second chance this season after being rejected last year. The handsome Louisiana native was undaunted, and unleashed a spine-tingling version of “Sara Smile” that had everyone grinning from ear to ear. This time his luck certainly changed, earning  him (ahem) a ride to the battle rounds from an all-too-willing Christina Aguilera.
