As the weeks go on and the contestant pool gets smaller and smaller, the talent level only rises on The Voice Season 3.

Last night’s live performance episode was no exception. The Top 12 sang their hearts out to stay in the competition, and we’ll find out tonight if their hard work paid off.

But five contestants really stood out last night. Here are our Top 5 favorites.

5) Cody Belew Sings “The Best”
There’s a solid chance that Team Cee Lo’s Cody Belew belongs in the ‘80s, but that doesn’t make us love him any less. His impressive stage presence entertains us each week, and his beautiful voice is a lovely bonus.

4) Terry McDermott Sings “More Than a Feeling”
Closing out last night’s episode was Scottish rocker, Terry, who gave a face-melting performance to the Boston classic. We have a feeling this contestant isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.

3) Trevin Hunte Sings “When a Man Loves a Woman”
Sticking to his moving ballads, Trevin tackled a love song this week, and we definitely fell for the Team Cee Lo contestant. Keep it up, Trev!

2) Bryan Keith Sings “Back to Black”
After weeks of hearing his gritty classic rock, we were pleased to see Bryan switch things up with an Amy Winehouse tune. And though we sometimes wonder if the Team Adam contestant sleeps with his fedora on, there’s no denying that boy can sang.

1) Cassadee Pope Sings “Behind These Hazel Eyes”
After weeks of impressing us with her pop punk vocals, Cassadee really spoke to us last night, singing a message-filled Kelly Clarkson tune. Her singing was spot on, but even more, we felt like we really got to know the Team Blake singer through her performance.

Do you agree with our choices? Who had best performance last night?
