Parting is such sweet sorrow, Voice fans, but the time has come, once again, to say goodbye to another hopeful on the road to crowning the Season 3 champion. In case you missed Carson Daly’s two reminders last night, Wetpaint Entertainment checked in with the host about tonight’s elimination.

He tweeted:

That’s right, folks! We’ll only have to part with one contestant tonight as the show prepares for next week’s live finale with the Top 3.

By this stage of the competition, it’s pretty clear that iTunes ranking is the key to determining who’s safe and who’s packing their suitcases. So let’s take a look at the charts, shall we?

For the second time this season, Team Blake’s Cassadee Pope snagged the No. 1 spot and Terry McDermott landed at a solid No. 2. Team Cee Lo’s Nicholas David also made it into the Top 10 at No. 6, but shy teen Trevin Hunte finished the voting at No. 38.

His performance of “Wind Beneath My Wings” was underwhelming and far from his Dreamgirls days, and we have a feeling that tonight’s the night we’ll be saying goodbye to Trevin.

Do you agree? Will Trevin be heading home? Weigh in below!
