The Voice Season 3 Winner Cassadee Pope Signs a Record Deal With Taylor Swift's Label
Though Cassadee Pope originally portrayed herself as a punk rocker on The Voice, she really opened herself up to a new audience when she delved into the country music genre on Team Blake.
Her cover of Miranda Lambert’s “Over You” reached No. 1 on the iTunes charts and set records for the show. Now, as Cassadee prepares to release her first album, she has landed on a record label well-suited to her country/pop rock needs.
According to Access Hollywood, Cassadee is signing with Republic Nashville — the same label that houses Taylor Swift and The Band Perry.
Cassadee has already announced that she intends on releasing an album within the next month, and a single by the end of January.
