Though The Voice Season 2 winner has stepped out of his role as backup singer for Alicia Keys, Jermaine Paul doesn’t want the R&B singer out of his life just yet.

As he prepares to record his new album, Jermaine has confirmed to MTV News that he plans on including Alicia in his new album.

"We've been working on a song for a while now," Jermaine said. "And, you know, what better time than now?"

We’d love to see a collaboration between the two, and after “Soul Man,” we’re ready to hear Blake Shelton on Jermaine’s new album too!
