The Voice’s Adam Levine Finally Responds to Jennifer Love Hewitt’s Crush Comments
It all started with a crush.
Actress Jennifer Love Hewitt admitted to Ellen Degeneres that Adam Levine’s newly single status didn’t go unnoticed. Claiming they would make a cute couple, Jennifer’s crush was then broadcast across the Internet.
When no response came, Jennifer once again went public saying, "I feel like I should write him an apology letter on Twitter or something just to say I'm so sorry … I wasn't thinking that it was gonna turn into this whole thing and I feel bad. [I had hoped that he would] say thanks for at least thinking that he's hot."
Give the boy a break! He’s going through a painful split from supermodel girlfriend Anne V and is too busy with The Voice to add his name to your Client List, Jennifer.
But Adam did respond to Jennifer’s comments last night in an post-show interview with Access Hollywood.
“It’s very flattering and very sweet and it was lovely to hear,” Adam said.
And on his new sex symbol status?
“I’m not going to let it get to my head,” he said. “Just kidding, I’m totally going to let it get to my head!”
