Though her sound continues to impress us, it’s De'Borah Garner's quirky style and infectious personality that has us coming back for more each week on The Voice Season 3.

De’Borah’s outspoken views and openness on national television about her sexuality have inspired audiences and even coach Adam Levine to tears.

Not only does she use her pipes to wow the coaches, but she’s also committed to using her voice to speak up on behalf of the gay community. With tomorrow being National Coming Out Day, De' Borah, who admitted she was gay for the first time in her blind audition episode, is committed to standing alongside those who want to do the same.

Wetpaint Entertainment caught up with the eccentric singer a few days after her victorious battle against fellow Team Christina contestant Nelly’s Echo. The singer provided some words of wisdom to those who have yet to come out.

"I've been in your shoes," she said "We can hold hands and walk through this together."

It looks like she's learning a thing or two about being a mentor from Xtina.

And speaking of shoes, De’Borah has some pretty stylish ones. We were really digging her Monday night performance outfit, and she tells us we aren’t the only ones.

At home, her family calls her “Mini Ellen” in reference to the openly gay talk show host Ellen Degeneres. Not a bad celebrity doppelganger if you ask us!

What do you think of De’Borah’s style and willingness to speak about her sexuality? Weigh in below!
