With a smile and a wink at the cameras, Dez Duron has won America over on The Voice Season 3.

But this cutie is more than just a pretty face. His smooth, soulful voice has impressed the judges each week. And though the singer respects all of the coaches’ input, he puts the most stock in what his coach, Christina Aguilera, has to say.

Wetpaint Entertainment caught up with the contestant on the red carpet after last night’s live show performance, and he dished about Christina and what lies ahead.

Wetpaint Entertainment: How do you feel about your latest performance? Did you have fun?

Dez Duron: I did. I had fun out on my stage singing one of my favorite songs in the world, so I cannot ask for anything more.

What do you hope to walk away having learned from the coaches?

I want to learn everything that I can from my coach. She is the best coach I could ever ask for. She is even better than I could have imagined. I want to show America everything I've got.

What’s been the most challenging thing you’ve encountered thus far this season?

There are a lot of changes this season that I was not ready for. The live playoffs and the knockouts really caught me off guard. But getting to sit back and watch what the show is about definitely helped me out.

What do you hope to accomplish from being on The Voice this season?

Obviously, I think the reason all of us even came on this show is because we want to make music. I want to make music. I want to tour. I want to meet my fans.
