Not everybody who leaves The Voice stage will be offered a record deal, but 29-year-old Jordis Unga is OK with that. In fact, she's more than OK — as of now, the rocker has raised a total of $59,224 to fund her new album, which she plans to produce all by herself.

What makes Jordis's fundraising effort even more impressive is she has exceeded her goal by 30k. Not bad!

So, what will this hard-earned money be used for? Jordis plans to roadtrip across the country with her guitars in tow, working on her record every step of the way.

"I'm on a journey to write and record my dream record and I need your help!" she wrote on her Kickstarter page. "Equipment, studio time, producers, musicians, promo, merch, mixing/mastering?! AHHH!"

Having $60,000 in her back pocket will allow her to make the kind of music she's always dreamed of.

"This record is a culmination of all my years of hard work, success and failure, and will come straight from my heart!" Jordis promises.
