This British boy band needs to respect their elders.

Newcomers The Wanted bashed Christina Aguilera in a recent interview with New York radio station 92.3 NOW FM after meeting the diva on The Voice.

Almost every member of the British boy band insulted Christina, starting with Max George. When asked why he didn’t jump off the stage to make out with Christina after he’d done it to Jennifer Lopez on American Idol, he said:

“She was a bit scary to be honest.”

Ouch!

And the insults didn’t stop there.

“She’s a total bitch!” exclaimed band member Tom Parker. “She might not be a bitch in real life, but to us she was a bitch. She just sat there and didn’t speak to us.”

“She was quite rude, actually,” band member Siva Kaneswaran agreed.

The Wanted’s appearance on The Voice was the same night that Christina supposedly dissed Justin Bieber. Band member Nathan Sykes confirmed Christina’s cold reception of the Biebs, imitating her reaction to him trying to give her a hug.

But it was Max who really kept the punches flying after being pushed on why he didn’t go in for a smooch with Xtina.

“Well JLo’s hot, Christina’s nothing special,” he said.

It seems these Brits are turning into bad boys, and not the fun kind. Do you think their comments were justified? Or should they respect the greats that have come before them?
